Nothing is more validating as a wedding photographer than being asked back for a second wedding by a family that you previously worked with. Being asked back a third time almost never happens! But that's exactly what did happen when we were asked back for Laurey and Matt's wedding at Penn Oaks Golf Club recently!

Laurey's sisters Lynda and Caroline (both former Fairmount brides!) were in the bridal party, too! So that was really cool to catch up with them and see them again.

The wedding also marked the first time we had ever been to Penn Oaks, which is a really great venue. The day itself was bitter cold but the venue and the people that worked there were incredible! 

Prior to the ceremony, we were able to move around and do bridal party portraits at Penn Oaks without accidentally running into each other. They had plenty of space for the groomsmen to hang out while the bridesmaids were out and about. And vice versa! 

The ceremony took place in a heated tent directly next to the Penn Oaks reception ballroom so once the festivities started, we were all set!

The wedding was filled with personalization with things like Laurey's mom singing at the ceremony and Mummers at the reception because of Laurey's dad and family! There were beautiful framed portraits of family members that couldn't attend and speeches that were both funny and heartwarming. 

Laurey and Matt (Matt 2!), I'm honored to have been inducted into the family as Matt 3! Thank you for bringing us back for a third go with the Rayer clan.
