We have so many fun weddings to share with you, but while we're busy narrowing down our favorites, I wanted to give our newlyweds some sneak peeks. First up— Jessica and Hans. I could easily do a montage of all of Jessica's great expressions throughout the day, but I just love this quiet moment with them during the portraits.

Sneak Peek: Stacy & Mike
Stacy & Mike have been waiting so patiently to see their photos, so here's a quick peek of one of our favorites from their engagement photos at Monocacy Park in Bethlehem. Stay tuned for more soon!
CASTING CALL: Let's trash your dress!
Matt and I are working a little project and we're looking for a few models for Trash-the-Dress photo sessions during the month of September. The only qualifications are that you have to own a wedding gown you'd be willing to get a bit dirty or wet and have some availability during September for a fashion shoot. The dress doesn't have to be the one you got married in, heck--you don't even have to be married! Let us know if your interested by e-mailing me at natalie@fairmountphoto.com and we'll fill you in on all the details!
Best of Liz & Brian's engagement photos at Valley Forge Park
A couple weekends ago Matt and I met up with Liz and Brian at Valley Forge Park, just outside Philadelphia for their engagement photos. It was our first time doing portraits there and it was hard to narrow down where to begin! Between the stone houses, wooden fences, rolling grassy hills, tall old trees and curvy jogging paths, Matt and I were brimming with ideas after our first loop around the park. We decided to base our shoot around Varnum's Quarters since it had a little bit of everything, plus some very bold deer grazing nearby. Add in the fact that sun had finally decided to show itself an hour before sunset on a cloud-covered day and the brightly-colored balloons that Liz and Brian brought along and it was pretty much perfect.
We were loving these deer. They didn't seem to mind how close we were at all. In fact, they kept grazing their way towards us until we changed locations.
Balloons are such a fun prop, and they can really add a sense of playfulness to an engagement shoot. I love the way that they add a pop of bright colors against all the soft natural greens, browns and yellows of the background.
Thanks Liz and Brian for suggesting Valley Forge Park! You guys are so much fun and we can't wait for your April wedding in Ocean City, NJ!
Married: Yelena & Mark
We're back! Thanks to everyone who has been so patient with us while I got married/went on a honeymoon/relocated to Bethlehem and Matt was overloaded with everything while I was gone. We've spent the last week catching up, and now we are back up to full speed. I jumped right back into the saddle, driving up to CT the day after we got back from our honeymoon to help my friend Sarah photograph Yelena & Mark's wedding. It was well worth combatting jet lag because Yelena and Mark are not just a gorgeous couple who got married at the beautiful Jonathan Edwards Winery, they are also incredibly sweet and kind people. They wrote some of the most eloquent vows I've ever heard, and it was truly a joy to get to know them.
Yelena & Mark decided to do portraits before their ceremony, so here is their first look. I love the expression on her face.
Sarah and I had a major crush on this white wall...
Did I mention they also had perfect weather?
Visit Sarah's blog at http://sarahmccoyphoto.com/blog/ to see more photos, including some from the reception. (I haven't actually seen my reception images yet, since Sarah still has my memory card with those photos—I just couldn't wait to post!)
