Philadelphia Wedding Photography | Breanne & Eric's Aldie Mansion Wedding

We had our first wedding at Aldie Mansion in Doylestown this May with Breanne and Eric. It was such a beautiful place!

Matt started his day with the girls in the bridal suite of the Aldie Mansion, while Natalie met Eric and his groomsmen at the Hampton Inn in Warrington. There were so many great spots around the venue to photograph Breanne's beautiful strapless lace wedding gown and diamond accessories to match!

The bride looked breathtaking in her wedding gown, adorned with a lace cover-up that she later removed for the reception, and her bridesmaids looked great in their matching gray bridesmaids dresses.

Eric stood out from his groomsmen, wearing a white jacket with his tux, while the rest of the guys wore black-on-gray tuxes. They looked great!

They were both naturals in front of the camera so their bride and groom portraits were so much fun! Towards the end of the night, we were able to capture one of our favorite photos ever—the two under a gigantic, twinkle-lit tree!

Congratulations Breanne and Eric!

After spending a day with Pam and Nick exploring New York City for their engagement photos this September (check out our previous blog post to see the photos they used as table arrangements!), we could not wait until their actual wedding, and it far exceeded our expectations!

We returned to Blue in Bethlehem for their late May wedding, but not before meeting Pam and her bridesmaids and Nick and his groomsmen at Sands Bethlehem where the two parties were getting ready.

Pam and Nick, as expected, kept their quirky, spontaneous personalities in full force, which made for such a fun day.

Pam looked fabulous in her beaded, vintage inspired wedding dress and stunning diamond jewelry, while Nick looked handsome as ever in a classic black tux (with a pop of fuchsia to match the fuchsia bridesmaid dresses and Pam's fuchsia orchid bouquet!).

After taking some really cool bridal party portraits around the grounds at Sands Bethlehem, we all set out to get the bride and groom married!

Their wedding ceremony at Blue was a pretty standard ceremony, with a surprise appearance from a group who sang "Seasons of Love" from the Broadway hit Rent! It was awesome!

Thanks, once again, for a great time, Pam and Nick!

Marie and Edwin could not have picked a better day for their Lancaster wedding at Stoltzfus Homestead. Not only was the day fantastic, but their venue was a perfect setting!

Both Marie and Edwin got ready at Stoltzfus with their respective bridal parties, while we took special precautions to make sure the two groups did not sneak any peeks at the other while out taking portraits!

Marie's beautiful lace wedding dress looked perfect next to her pink lace bridesmaids' dresses. Marie wore her "something blue" high heels, while her bridesmaids  wore cowboy boots. Edwin and his groomsmen added their own touch of personality to their grey tuxes with superhero socks!

The two said their "I do's" during a traditional Catholic ceremony at St. Joseph's Church in Lancaster, PA.

After heading back to the reception at Stoltzfus Homestead as official newlyweds, the two kicked off the evening with some lawn games and appetizers outside, before asking their guests to head into the barn for the party to start!

Their reception was one of the most fun we have been to! Their families and friends held nothing back on the dance floor of the Stoltzfus Grand Barn, and made for some great photos.

The newlyweds also had an assortment of cupcakes as a dessert for their guests, and s'mores kits outside by the fire pit.

When the night was just about done, Marie and Edwin made a sparkler exit using heart-shaped sparklers! They definitely know how to make an exit!

Congratulations, Marie and Edwin!

Philadelphia Wedding Photography | Jon & Elena's Lehigh Valley Wedding

Elena and Jon's wedding at Blue in Bethlehem was our kickoff wedding for the 2015 season, and they certainly set the bar high!

Natalie met Elena and her bridesmaids at Elena's parent's home while they were getting ready. Elena looked stunning in her strapless beaded wedding gown, while her eight bridesmaids wore beautiful floor-length green bridesmaids dresses in varying styles.

Once the girls were all dolled up,  they ventured out to get some great photos outside, despite the snow that had fallen just two days before!

Matt met up with the guys while they were getting ready, and eventually both groups met up for a first look at Blue in Bethlehem! Jon was undoubtedly blown away when he first saw his bride-to-be!

Elena, Jon and their whole bridal party braved the cold for some portraits around Blue before the ceremony, and then headed inside to get married.

The ceremony was beautiful, with the center aisle lined in white rose petals, and many were moved to tears as the bride and groom said their vows.

Elena and Jon definitely knew how to throw a party, as was evident during their reception! They kept the spring green theme running throughout the reception, and even had green and white wedding cupcakes in place of a traditional wedding cake!

Congratulations, Elena and Jon!

Philadelphia Wedding Photography | Emily & Cassie's California Wedding

I had the privilege of photographing Emily and Cassie's wedding in Santa Cruz, CA last year and it was honestly one of the most unique weddings I have ever been involved with.

For starters, it was initially supposed to be a wedding in Michigan until Cassie was relocated to California for work. It turned out to be a package deal, with Emily and their wedding plans moving to California as well.

But the most unique thing — to me, at least — was that they decided on having the wedding in the middle of a giant redwood forrest. They made it more than just a one day deal for anyone that wanted to come out earlier, even offering space to family and friends at their house.

They were having the wedding at the Sequoia Retreat Center in mountains of Santa Cruz. Everyone was invited to stay on-site in cabins so on Friday night they invited everyone to the rehearsal dinner at the center. They even tied in the holiday theme with a toy exchange!

Saturday was the big day and Emily and Cassie's uniqueness shined through. They opted to not pick sides for their bridal party, instead just having five of their closest friends be their joint bridal party. Cassie and Emily got ready in separate cabins with members from the bridal party shuttling back and forth. Cassie wore a beautiful strapless flowing wedding gown. Emily went with a suit and vest (sans jacket).

We did a First Look with enormous redwood trees as the backdrop before taking everyone around for some bridal party portraits in the forrest. Then they held the ceremony outdoors, incorporating a handful of friends to make their day extra special.

Then it was time to party! Cassie had a few tricks up her sleeve, including a surprise wedding flash mob that incorporated almost everyone in attendance. After the reception there was even a grilled cheese buffet and bonfire.

Cassie and Emily, thanks so much for entrusting me to capture your wedding day!
