Greg and Meredith decided to become members of our Fairmount Photography family well before their wedding day, so we were really looking forward to their big day last November.
Weddings at Tendenza in Northern Liberties are always a blast because it's such a cool venue, in such a great neighborhood! We began the day with the bride and groom getting ready in separate locations: Meredith at her parent's house and Greg at the Staybridge Brandywine near Wilmington. They chose purple and gray as their wedding colors, and they had a lot of special things that need to be captured. For instance, Greg gave baseball jerseys as groomsmen gifts so we did some pictures at the hotel before heading out to the ceremony. They had their ceremony at St. Thomas the Apostle in Glen Mills. Greg and Meredith opted to not do a first look so the first time Greg got to see his beautiful bride was when she came walking down the aisle. After the ceremony, we did a few pictures outside of St. Thomas the Apostle before heading to Olde City for more portraits!
It was important to Greg and Meredith that the city was represented in their pictures. We had to move quickly because the light was fading fast, but we took a few pictures on the cobblestones near the Ritz movie theater followed by bridal party portraits at Independence Hall. We finished up with the bride and groom portraits at Independence Hall and then went to the Tendenza for the big party!
The Tendenza looked fantastic and the newlyweds and their guests enjoyed an amazing and memorable evening!
Greg and Meredith, we are so glad that your wedding day finally arrived! We are truly excited to have been a part of your beautiful day.
(If they look familiar, you may remember them from their engagement photos at Temple University.)
