We have spent our fair share of time adventuring around Northeast Philly for weddings but Bridget and Brian brought us to not just one, but TWO different places we had never been to before: Lorimer Park and the Townsend Room.
The day started off with both sides getting ready at separate houses before heading out for the ceremony at St. Albert The Great in Huntingdon Valley.
Then the fun began!
Bridal party portraits at Lorimer Park could not have been more beautiful. It was the perfect location to take portraits. We started out with some bridal party portraits in an open field where the sun was shining down before moving into the wooded area across the water. The wooden bridge for bride and groom portraits was a perfect setup as well. Bridget and Brian were nothing but smiles so it was so easy to capture their love for each other.
From there we went to the Townsend Room for their reception. Surprisingly we have never been to a Milillo Event Group/P&P Caterers venue for a wedding before. BUT we do have some experience at their venues because we did photos of all the venues for their new website! So we were definitely comfortable when we got there.
Bridget and Brian are both teachers and they embraced that with their wedding theme. Their table numbers were all math equations, their guest book was a wall map they asked people to sign and there were math puns and pencils everywhere! The reception itself was a blast. They provided a full band which the crowd was up and dancing to all night. They had two very heart felt speeches from their best people and they even had a blessing by Brian's nephew (who was barely into double digits age-wise, if at all!)
