As I've mentioned previously, my little family has relocated to just outside Boston. I grew up in the Lehigh Valley, and lived in Philly for nearly 10 years, so Boston is a whole new world to me. But I am learning to love it! I've approached 2013 as my "Boston wedding photography bootcamp." I'm working as a subcontractor for a company up here in order to gain as much experience and knowledge of the area as possible. While I know that it's hard to replicate the institutional knowledge that comes with growing up in a place, I hope that photographing dozens of weddings at many of the best Boston wedding venues will give me a solid head start.
My first Boston engagement session brought me to one of the most popular spots in the city, but with a twist. Rachael and Robert wanted to take advantage of the post-holiday decor on Boston Common and the Public Garden at night, and of course we couldn't pass up the light-wrapped trees along Comm. Ave. Β It was a cold night, but we made the most of it! Β I can't wait to check out their wedding venue. They'll be celebrating their October wedding on Thompson Island in Boston Harbor.
